What do I need to do before moving the printer?

Where should I place the printer?

The printer must be placed on a flat, stable table with a tilt of less than 10 degrees. If the printer detects abnormal tilting, it will trigger an alarm and stop printing. You will need to adjust the placement before resuming operation.Using an unstable surface can cause the following problems:1. The printer may shake, leading to potential damage.2. Print quality may decrease.3. The printer could fall over, posing a safety risk.

What materials can be printed on?

Hard Objects (Recommended): Hard flat materials such as metal plates, wooden boards, and ceramics.Heat-Sensitive Objects (Fixed with Adhesive Plates): Thin acrylic sheets (around 1 mm thick) may deform after about 30 prints due to heat from the UV lamp. These should be securely fixed to the platform using adhesive plates. For example, when using acrylic, press each sheet firmly to ensure it is fully in contact with the platform surface.Paper and Soft Film (Test Adhesive Plate First): When printing on paper or film products, test in advance to ensure the material adheres well to the adhesive plate.The following materials may have adhesion problems:- Glass or Glazed Ceramics: Pre-coating liquid is recommended to avoid peeling or wrinkling.- Metal: Suitable for normal use. Pre-coating is recommended in humid environments or where rapid temperature changes may occur.- Acrylic: Suitable for normal use. Pre-coating is recommended if the print needs to withstand heavy scratching.

What is the printable height range? How can I tell if my item can be printed?

Flatbed Mode:- Maximum object height recognized by the camera: 60 mm- Maximum printable object height: 100 mm- Maximum allowable height variation on a single object: 2 mmImportant Note: All objects placed on the platform must be at the same height. Uneven objects can cause damage to both the substrate and the machine.Rotary printing mode (all of the following conditions must be met):- Object diameter must be between 40 mm and 100 mm.- The difference between the largest and smallest diameters must not exceed 35 mm.- The taper angle must not exceed 13 degrees.- The object must be perfectly round with straight sides (for example, a cylinder or a straight-sided cup).

Why are printed colors sometimes distorted? How can I check the status of my print head?

It is recommended to size the image slightly larger than the substrate to ensure proper alignment.

3D texture is a three-dimensional effect created by stacking layers of white ink, then applying a top layer of color ink to ensure vivid and bright colors.eufyMake has developed a unique stacked printing algorithm to optimize both efficiency and quality. During printing, you may notice some white pigment visible between layers—this is normal.The color layer will be applied afterward, and the final result will be completely covered in color.In general, the thicker the model, the more print passes will be required to achieve the full 3D texture.

What do the different print modes mean?

Accepted Answer

White + CMYK: Printing a white ink base enhances the vibrancy of the printed image.CMYK: Prints directly onto the original substrate, allowing the base color to show through.CMYK + White: Used when printing on acrylic for inverted display (the image must be mirrored).CMYK + White + CMYK: Used when printing on acrylic for double-sided display.White: Prints a pure white background.Gloss: Prints a pure glossy coating layer.Sticker: Used for crystal sticker mode.

Does the UV printer need to be powered all the time?

The device must remain powered on during regular use, and should be cleaned and maintained automatically at scheduled intervals.If the printer remains powered off for too long (outside the time limits shown in the app), the print head may become damaged, and this will void the warranty.If you need to power off the printer:- Press and hold the power button (located next to the power cord).- Wait for the automatic maintenance process to complete—this takes approximately 15 minutes.- Once the app shows the device as offline, you can safely unplug the power cord.Unplugging the power cord without following the steps above ay interrupt the maintenance cycle and cause damage to the printer.

Is it possible to inject third-party ink?

No, the ink cartridge uses a sealed design with an encryption chip, so third-party ink cannot be added. Any attempt to disassemble or refill the ink cartridge will void the warranty. Using third-party ink may cause nozzle clogging or damage, or print color distortion.

Can I check my ink consumption? What if the ink runs out during printing?

Ink levels are displayed on the device page in the app or on your PC. If ink runs out during printing, you can replace the ink cartridge and continue printing without turning off the machine.

Why is there still ink in the ink cartridge after it says its empty?

Accepted Answer

A low ink warning will occur when there's approximately 12% ink left in the cartridge.At this stage, you can continue printing, but you cannot perform ink extraction to avoid air entering the system.If the printer enters moisturizing mode (deep cleaning) at this time, it will not be possible to start the next print.As a result, the ink cartridge typically has around 5% ink remaining at the end of its usable life.

Why does ink sometimes leak when replacing the cartridge?

When replacing the ink cartridge, a small amount of ink may overflow. This is normal and typically will not stain the ink tank or leak outside the printer. However, the following actions can cause abnormal ink leakage:- Pressing down on the ink cartridge for an extended period.- Repeatedly removing and reinserting the ink cartridge.- Causing severe vibration when installing the ink cartridge into the printer.

Replace the cleaning cartridge when:1. The cleaning liquid or moisturizing liquid is depleted.2. The waste ink tank is full.Under normal usage (weekday use with weekends off), a cleaning cartridge typically lasts about 2 months.The actual lifespan of the cleaning cartridge will vary depending on the frequency of shutdowns, deep cleaning cycles, and total printing volume.

Why is the cleaning cartridge still full when I remove it?

The cleaning cartridge contains cleaning liquid, moisturizing liquid, and waste ink.Although these liquids are housed in the same cartridge, they are kept separate and do not mix.Waste ink generated during printing, along with waste liquid from cleaning cycles, flows back into the cleaning cartridge. The cartridge will become noticeably heavier once it is fully used.

When will the printer be cleaned? How can I check the printer's current status?

The printer uses eufyMake's JetClean intelligent maintenance system, which protects the print head through four core maintenance actions:1. Flashing: Simulates the printing process by ejecting tiny ink droplets from all nozzles to help prevent ink drying and nozzle clogging.2. Cleaning: Activates the waste ink pump to draw ink through the nozzles, flushing out residual ink and contaminants.3. Deep Cleaning: Uses a specialized cleaning solution to thoroughly flush the nozzles, followed by re-priming with fresh ink.4. Moisturization: Fully cleans the print head with cleaning solution, then injects moisturizing fluid. Ideal for protecting the nozzles during idle periods.The printer automatically performs scheduled Flash + Clean cycles during daily use.If the printer remains idle for an extended period, it will automatically perform a moisturization cycle and enter Sleep mode. No further maintenance actions will occur until the printer is used again, at which point ink priming will be required.You can check the current maintenance status of your printer through the device page in the app or on PC.

What type of UV light is used? Is it harmful to the eyes?

The peak wavelength of UV printer light is 395 nm, which is a type of UV-C. It is less harmful to the human body than UVV-A and UV-B. eufyMake UV Printer E1 has passed TUV's low blue light certification, and the light in all bands is at a level that does not affect human health.If you want to directly observe the printing process, or if children are nearby, it is still recommended to wear the included anti-blue light glasses.

Why does the printer smell? Is this harmful?

The main component of UV ink is photosensitive resin, which has a particular odor in the liquid state, meaning an odor can be expected during the printing process. Our UV ink has passed the GREENGUARD Gold certification standard and can be safely used indoors and outdoors after printing. The odor will disappear quickly. If you are concerned about the odor, we suggest:1. Closing the printer door when using the mini platform plate and rotating printing accessories.2. Keep the printing environment ventilated.

Is the machine dangerous to use?

Do not place your hands or any objects underneath the platform when it is raised, as this may cause injury.The print head moves at high speed during printing.
