How to UV Print on Tumblers: Step-by-Step
If you want to print on a tumbler with the eufyMake E1, the process is easier than many people expect.
Here is a clear step by step guide you can use.
Step 1: Clean and Pre-treat for a Pro Finish
First, wipe your tumbler with 75% alcohol to remove dust and fingerprints.
If you are printing on glass or shiny metal, apply a UV coating (pre-treatment) to make sure the ink sticks forever. For a perfect look, apply a little masking tape to the top and bottom edges. This keeps the edges of your design sharp and clean when you peel it off later.
Next, prepare your design file. Use a high resolution image and size it for the printable area of the tumbler.
If you want the graphic to wrap around the tumbler, it helps to check the layout before you move to printing.
Step 2: Install the Rotary Attachment
Switching is fast. Slide the latch on the printer tray to the left and lift out the flatbed.
Place the Rotary Printing Attachment onto the tray, then slide the latch back to the right to lock it in.
If you are printing a skinny tumbler with deep threads inside the top (more than 15mm), use the strut spacer to make sure the cup sits in the right spot.
Step 3: Load the Item onto the Drive Wheels
Hold your tumbler with the opening facing left and push it against the front stop pin. Place the opening on the drive wheels.
Press the unlock button and slide the end until the rear stop pin is snug against the base of the cup.
Rest the bottom on the follower wheels and slide the adjustable strut to the right to lock it in place.
Step 4: Let the Software Take Over
Next, open the eufyMake Studio RIP software on your Mac or PC.
Within the canvas interface, click on Print Bed and select Rotary.
Instead of using a ruler, just click Auto Measure and select the shape of your cup.
The E1 will use its dual lasers to automatically measure the height of the item. This ensures the print head is always at the perfect distance, which is critical for a high-quality finish.
Step 5: Position Your Design and Print
Upload your image into the workspace. The software will show you a 3D preview of your design wrapping around the cup, so you can see exactly how it looks before you waste any ink.
You can manually adjust the top and bottom margins to get the placement perfect.
Once you’re happy, hit print! The printer precisely coordinates the rotation and the print head to create a seamless, 360-degree wrap.
Step 8: Check the Finished Tumbler
After printing is done, inspect the tumbler carefully.
Look at the placement, edge clarity, and overall print quality. Make sure the design sits where you expected and that the result looks even across the printed area.
If needed, compare the finished print with your software preview so you can fine tune future jobs more easily.

Printing on Mugs, Slanted Cups, and More
