Since the Kickstarter launch, we've been hearing so much thoughtful feedback from all of you about the software. The concerns, the ideas, and the little details you've pointed out have been incredibly valuable.
At the same time, we know many of you are eagerly waiting for your E1 printers, and we truly appreciate your patience. While you wait, we want to share the progress we've made to make sure your experience is the best it can be once your printer arrives.
Today, we’re glad to share a new software update with you. It brings two key changes: Offline Use and Zero-point Alignment.
Offline Use: Print Anywhere, Stay Creative

The first big update we want to share is Offline Use.
Compared to industrial-grade models, the eufyMake E1 is more compact and lightweight, which opens up exciting ways to use it.
Many of you told us you want to bring your E1 to craft fairs, trade shows, and other on-site events for custom printing. We've also heard from potential users who were concerned that the printer could only work when connected to the cloud.
We're happy to say those worries are over.
What's New
Offline Use lets you connect and print without the internet. You can connect through your computer's Wi-Fi or directly via the printer's settings.
The printer and the design software each have a special mode for operating in environments without an internet connection:
- Printer AP Mode: This mode turns your printer into its own Wi-Fi hotspot. Your computer can connect directly to the printer's Wi-Fi signal, allowing for device control and file transfers without needing an external network.
- Editor Offline Mode: When your computer is not connected to the internet, the editor can be switched to this mode automatically or manually. In Offline Mode, you can continue to design and save your projects as local files.
To put it simply, first quickly press the power button on the side of the printer three times to turn on AP Mode. Then use AP Mode to connect your computer to the printer. After that, use Offline Use on your computer to create your designs.

How Will This Help You?
At busy events, the network can be slow or cut out because of crowds or poor coverage. This can stop the printer from working, cause delays, and upset customers. That means fewer sales and a worse experience.
With Offline Use:
- You can print anytime, anywhere, without needing the internet. Whether at an exhibition, market stall, or temporary workspace, your creativity isn't interrupted, and projects stay on track.
- You can keep designing your projects anywhere, without interruptions. This helps you stay creative and find more chances to make and sell your work.
- Switching between online and offline is easy. The printer reminds you when to switch and lets you choose with one click or manually. You can adjust based on the network around you.
- Your work is safe. When you switch modes, the printer asks you to save your project. This helps protect your files from being lost if the network drops or you change settings.

FAQs about Offline Use
1. If I always keep using Offline Mode and don't update the software, will it affect my usage?
During the early stages, we'll be updating frequently, adding new features and fixing bugs. To make sure you don't run into issues, we recommend updating in a timely manner. Aside from software updates and cloud-based features (like certain AI tools), the printer will still work normally offline.
2. I care about privacy and worry about relying too much on online servers. What does that mean for me?
We completely understand these concerns. Once your device is bound to your account, you'll still be able to use the printer offline through your PC, even without server access. Meanwhile, we'll keep providing ongoing service and updates, so you can use your E1 with confidence now and in the future.
3. What if file transfers are slow in Offline Mode?
Offline Mode can sometimes be affected by surrounding Wi-Fi interference. To improve transfer speed, switch the AP Mode frequency to 5GHz in settings. After switching, just reconnect your device to the printer's Wi-Fi for a smoother experience.
Zero-Point Alignment: Accurate Printing, Faster Setup
In the past, the E1 mostly relied on camera-based alignment to position designs. It worked, but it often felt slow, especially when you had to run multiple prints in a row.
We also heard from many of you that taller objects, usually anything above 60mm, just couldn't be aligned properly. It really did limit what you could create.

What's New
Zero-Point Alignment is mainly for edge-to-edge printing on standard geometric substrates, such as square or rectangular objects. The design should be set to the Actual Size of the material.
In this scenario, the process becomes much faster and smoother:
- Place the material on the print bed, aligning it with the zero point or the scale marks (for example, at any chosen (x, y) position).
- In the Editor, set your design to the actual size as the material and align it to the corresponding zero point or coordinates.
If your design does not cover the entire surface, such as a logo in the center of a wooden board, camera alignment is still the better choice.
How Will This Help You?
Save Time on Setup
Setup takes less time compared to before, so you can get into printing more smoothly without extra steps slowing you down.
Print Taller Objects
You'll also see new freedom in what you can print. With Zero-Point Alignment, the height range expands from 60mm up to 100mm, so you can take on bigger and more ambitious pieces with confidence.
What's Next
That's all for this round of updates. When your printer arrives, these features will already be ready for you to explore. We can't wait to see what you'll do with them.
We'll keep improving the software and regularly share the latest progress, so you're always up to date. You can follow the updates on our website.
As always, your feedback makes a big difference. Let's keep making and growing together.
