To keep the schedule effective without being excessive, the system checks your maintenance history. If no deep clean or moisturizing operation (manual or automatic) has occurred within three consecutive calendar days, a deep clean will be triggered automatically at midnight on the fourth day.
After deep cleaning, the print head is soaked in cleaning solution. This keeps the print head moist and clean and prevents dust or residue from building up on the print head surface while the device is idle.
Think of automatic deep cleaning as a built-in safety net for busy periods. Even if you completely forget maintenance, the system makes sure your print head does not silently slip into a weakened state after continuous output.
2. Automatic Moisturizing
Automatic moisturizing focuses on protecting the print head when the device is idle. Even when not printing, the print head will affected by air movement, temperature and humidity changes, and evaporation of residual ink. Over time, these factors may cause the print head surface to dry out, affecting the next print's stability.
To prevent this, the system continuously monitors idle time. If the printer has not printed at all for a full 24 hours, it will automatically perform a moisturizing operation the following midnight.
During moisturizing, the print head is soaked in moisturizing liquid to keep the print head surface hydrated, preventing drying or the formation of thin residue layers. This daily "state maintenance" ensures that even on days you do not use the printer, the print head does not quietly degrade.

Run a Test Print before your daily printing

Keep the printer away from extreme environments
UV ink and print heads are sensitive to temperature, humidity, and light. Strong light accelerates print-head tip drying, overly dry or overly humid air affects moisturizing, and temperature swings impact ink viscosity. Keeping the printer in a stable environment - ideally 15°C~35°C with a relative humidity of 20%~85% - helps reduce unnecessary stress on the print head and ensures more consistent printing performance.
Use safe shutdown for long idle periods
If you will not use your printer for more than a day, shutting it down safety ensures the printer executes its built-in shutdown moisturizing process. This seals the print head and replenishes moisturizing liquid. Turning the power off abruptly or leaving the device idle for long periods can expose the print head to air, increasing the risk of drying or clogging.
Perform manual print head maintenance periodically
